Mutual funds are good for them who wants return after 15 to 20 years. If you can't wait so long, quit mutual funds and keep your money in bank fixed deposits. Read More...

Franklin India TAXSHIELD - GROWTH Invested Amount - 3,000 PM 3.Franklin India Ultra Short Bond Fund - Super Institutional plan - Growth Invested Amount -5,000 PM I am a little worried since. @sundaresh First two Funds are Pure Equity Funds which are highly risky and Recommended for 5+ years. And last one is debt fund which is recommended for 1 to 3 years, here risk is low as compared to Equities. Your all 3 funds are very good and you have started investing at correct time. In terms of Returns expecting 15% in 5 years is bit too high but not impossible. Would suggest you to expect somewhere around 12% in 5 years time frame. Shall suggest you to keep Investing in same ELSS funds and stay Invested for long term. Read More...

$Motilal Oswal Long Term Fund-Direct-Growth how is this fund for long term? I've started with 1500/mo as I'm a new investor. After from this I'm also investing in $ICICI Prudential Long Term Equity Fund-Tax Saving-Regular-Growth in direct fund 1000/mo. I've stopped $Aditya BSL Tax Relief'96 Fund- (ELSS U/S 80C of IT ACT) - Growth-Regular Plan because in starting I wasn't aware of this Direct /regular types. How is my selection of funds?
