Have a patience.. If u have taken fund for long term, then invest ur surplus amt and remain invested. These type of ups-n-down will come in future too... Many examples are there, well known like 2008 yr. Ive dfrnt funds than you but they also got corrected and down by 5-8% and I have loss overall 18-20K in 10-15 days. Don't Worry.... Keep remain invested.... Read More...

High Risk Portfolio. For Mid and small caps you need to have horizon of 7+ years and for sectorial funds horizon should be 8+ years..but its always better to avoid Sectorial funds they carry very high risk. In your Portfolio i would advise some changes thats needs to be done. From $Reliance Small Cap Fund - Direct Growth Plan Growth Option switch to $Reliance Large Cap Fund - DIRECT GROWTH PLAN GROWTH OPTION as you already have 2 additional small caps L&T emerging and SBI Small cap. From ICICI Prudential P H D fund switch to $ICICI Prudential Multicap Fund-Direct-Growth . Rest 3 Funds seems ok though with 7+ years. Read More...
