Good point raised lets understand what is MWPA Married Women's Property Act 1874 (MWP Act) What is MWP Act? Under this act, Section 6 highlights it’s importance: "a policy of insurance effected by any married man on his own life and expressed on the face of it to be for the benefit of his wife, or of his wife and children, or any of them, shall ensure and be deemed to be a trust for the benefit of his wife, or of his wife and children, or any of them according to the interests so expressed, and shall not, so long as any object of the trust remains, be subject to the control of the husband, or to his creditors, or form part of his estate." Hi all I started my investment 4 months back and I started investing too much diversification and recently came to know that I should not keep more funds as it's difficult to track in future. In small cap I have around three funds which i think surely needs to trimmed to one or max 2(experts suggest exact numbers) 1.sbi small cap 2.reliance small cap 3.hdfc small cap. investment horizon is more than 25 to 30 years as it is for my retirement and as it's a high risky I will do a Periodic STP starting by 10 percentage from 25th year. This is my idea. pls suggest if experts have any different opinion or way to handle better. Thanks Read More...
