Sir Profit Booking time was when Market crossed 38K..at that time one would have booked profit and gone for vacations 😉 Now its time to get active and start investing at every dip. I would not recommend you to book profit in $UTI-EQUITY Fund - Direct Plan - Growth and $Reliance Small Cap Fund - Direct Growth Plan Growth Option . Rest 2 yes you can redeem temporary basis and start investing in existing funds and take advantage of Low NAV. Read More...

Hi. Thanks for A2A. The fund good to go from portfolio point of view. It's a Large-Growth strategy fund. A little heavily biased towards financial sector. It's a conservative fund. For long term it's a good fund. Has lower risk than category average. But it's returns are also lower than other funds, still higher than category average. Depending on your goal, you may continue investing in this fund. We understand it's a little vague but you have to understand it's all very subjective. :) Read More...

Hi Rahul, while buying another small cap fund which is\will perform well is good to have in a folio, we would however urge you to diversify the folio instead. the reason being, small cap funds are highly aggressive option to invest the money in. Like any other person, we would want the best returns at minimum risks. Hence diversification of portfolio. We would suggest that if you were to invest in a mutual fund and build a folio out of it you should have 55-60% - Large Cap (for stability) 25-20% - Midcap the reamaing for small cap which would smooth our your returns with better stability. also, you would want to check out the folios, if different folios are invested in the same companies, it would mean all of your money either being appreciated or depreciating at the same time. we have a blog post on how to diversify your portfolio for better returns. #TUIBlog let us know your thoughts on it. http;//bit.ly/TUIbA3I Read More...

If you have already bought it.. Hold it.. If not bought yet understand the risks associated with the sectoral funds and then buy. MnC should do good in near future so you might get good returns in short term, but then redeem and get gains. These are not for long term. hope you understand Read More...

banking sector will remain in pain for a while.. The fund is not a great performer.. It is a sectoral fund and now people can see why such sectoral funds are very risky. I would hold it for 1-2 months till the noise settles down and then redeem. Read More...
