Yes..There should be difference of at least 30 days between first debit and second debit..For eg if you have done an initial purchase in particular fund on 20th Dec and chosen SIP date as 1st..it will not start from 1st Jan.. it will start from 1st Feb. Read More...

So here you can go with 1 Midcap $L&T Midcap Fund Direct Plan - Growth or if you have any tax obligations on your income you can $Aditya BSL Tax Relief'96 Fund- (ELSS U/S 80C of IT ACT) - Growth-Direct Plan it has majority of Investment in Mid and small caps. There are too many charges associated in ULIPs like Fund Management Charges, Fund allocation charges, Administration Charges etc.. These charges are taken from your premiums which you pay..so out of 100 only 80 gets Invested rest are deducted in charges. And in ELSS MF out of 100 99 gets Invested. So in ELSS your money wont grow as much it can grow in MF. Read More...
