Housewife/ Passionate Investor
Old saying : One who can manage home economics, can manage nation's economics.
To test this adage, asked my mom to step into shoes of a Fund Manager. 1000 Cr AUM, mandate is 3% above FD rate.
Her investment allocation was way to simple
1. 10% equity - Fundamentally strong revenue, low debt well corrected scrip
2. 30% - Credit risk and G-sec bonds
3. 60% liquid fund
Equity to be churned actively and whenever heavy correction can transfer up to 20% from liquid to equity.
The plan is theoretically good, but is it practical? Inviting opinions.
