If you want 15% returns do the basic math right. Average returns of Large cap 12% Large & Mid 13-14% Mid Cap 15% Small cap 18% ELSS - check the portfolio allocation Large, Mid or Small Multi Cap - based on the % allocation do ur math. Sector funds - risky Opt for 5 star funds only One Fund per Category is enough If your basic math gets u 15% then go with it. Read More...

I have 4 equity funds in my portfolio. As part of asset allocation, now I want to add 2 debt funds. Can I have a liquid fund and a credit risk fund? I don't have need of this money in foreseeable future. Or should I not venture into anything more volatile than short term funds?  #MutualFunds #Equity #Funds  Read More...

1 liquid fund and one low duration fund should suffice. Credit risk funds might give good returns but are risky hence avoid. Choose any liquid fund, and in low duration you may go  with Franklin India Low duration or Aditya birla low duration direct growth.  #MutualFunds  Read More...

A general query we are receiving these days is which fund is best for 3 years, I want to invest X amount. Although it's not that simple, we would like your view on what to buy for 3 years for say INR 25,000. Please share your views. #fund #funds #stocks #TUIBlog Read More...

For such short term its better to go for low duration debt fund. $Franklin India Low Duration Fund - Direct-Growth is one which investors can prefer for 3 years and can expect returns somewhere between 8.50 to 9%. Now if someone doesn't have tax implications can choose FD over debt funds too. There are some banks offering more than 8% on FD's too. So for 3 years one can park their funds in FD and can expect cumulative yield around 8.80% on FD's too. #Debtfunds #FixedDeposits Read More...
